5 KILOMETERS FOR A GOOD CAUSE!

On the occasion of Powerman Zofingen 2024, the Long-Distance Duathlon World Championships, the Charity Run will also take place this year. So, it's THE opportunity for individuals who enjoy racing, jogging, walking, but prefer to skip cycling. Moreover, it's also THE unique opportunity to actively do good! Whether you're an experienced athlete or just starting out with running training - this run is for anyone who wants to make a positive difference. Join as an individual participant, with your family, or team up with friends as a group. Age doesn't matter, because every step counts in the Powerman Charity!

This is how it works

A fixed portion of the registration fees of all participants will be directly donated to the Cancer League Aargau. It doesn't matter if you complete one, two, three, or even four of the 1.25 km long laps - every step, stride, and kilometer counts. Together, we actively contribute to the good cause and support people with cancer and their families in the canton of Aargau!

Until 08/31/24:

Age 1-13: CHF 10.-

Age 14-100: CHF 39.-

​From 09/01/24:

Age 1-13: CHF 15.-

Age 14-100: CHF 49.-

Location, Date

The distribution of race numbers for the Charity Run will take place on September 7, 2024, at the Stadtsaalturnhalle in Zofingen. Participants can look forward to an idyllic running route, which winds its way around the Gemeindeschulhaus GMS and the Schützenmatte in Zofingen, with a length of 1.25 km.
 

Detailed information about the exact start times will be announced once finalized. This special running event is one of the highlights of the Experience Day, which offers a comprehensive program with exciting races and diverse attractions for all ages and interests.

What happens with the money?

The Cancer League Aargau provides support and advice to people with cancer and their families concerning issues that arise after a cancer diagnosis: work situation, financial planning, insurance, family life. They can also simply take the time to listen.  

In financial emergencies that can arise during long periods of illness, the Cancer League Aargau has the ability to provide short-term emergency assistance. In prevention, they advocate for early detection of cancer (e.g. through screenings), and with their research contributions, they contribute to the development of therapies.
